Apple to Use A14 Bionic Chips for Macs
In September, when Apple announced the new iPad Air and its new updates, colors, and design, something surfaced about the Apple A14 Bionic chipset. To everyone’s surprise, the new iPad Air was based on the A14 Bionic chipset, The same chipset was used in the latest iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. In an interview with the German magazine Stern, Tim Millet (Apple’s Vice President of Platform Architecture) shared some insights into the Apple A14 Bionic chipset and how it separates them from the competition. In the interview, Tim said, “ It takes my breath away when I see what people can do with the A14 Bionic chip ” and thus started a phase where people were starting wondering that Apple might come up with new Macbooks that’ll be based on the same iPad Air and iPhone 12 A14 Bionic chipset.
