How to Add Apps to your Smart TV

Smart TV already comes with some selected apps for watching TV Shows, movies, and other content through the online streaming process. If you want to add more apps to your Smart TV, then you can directly download it from your TV Store.
Here is how to download apps on Apple, Amazon Fire, and Samsung Smart TVs.
To Add Apps to your Apple TV:
Before adding apps to your Apple TV, make sure that your TV is connected with an internet connection as without it you can’t add apps to your TV. If you’ve owned an Apple TV of the third generation or older, then regretfully, you can’t add apps on your TV.
Steps:
  1. Switch on your Apple TV.
  2. Go to ‘App Store’ and tap on the ‘Touch Surface’ of your remote to open App Store. You can also access ‘App Store’ through your iPhone for this you’ll have to use Apple TV app on your iPhone.
When you open App Store, you’ll see popular apps on your screen, scroll to view more apps.
  1. Now, go to ‘Search’ and tap on your TV remote to search for the apps you want to add to your TV.
  2. Type the app’s name you want to add.
  3. Choose an app and tap on your TV remote to view download option and app’s page.
  4. Go to ‘Install’ at the middle of the page and tap on your remote. If the app is not available for free download, then you’ll see the app’s price instead of install.
The app starts downloading on your Apple TV. You can also go to the ‘Categories’ tab and choose a category of the app to view apps through the category.
To Add Apps to your Amazon Fire TV:
Before adding apps to your Amazon Fire TV, makes sure that your TV is connected with an internet connection without it you can’t add apps to your TV.
Steps:
  1. Switch on your Amazon Fire TV.
  2. Take your TV remote and access the ‘Sidebar,’ go to left side of the screen with the left directional button to open the sidebar.
  3. Go down to find ‘Apps.’
  4. Open ‘Spotlight’ tab to view popular free apps.
  5. Select a ‘Category’ into Categories to browse the apps you want.
  6. Select an ‘App’ with the ‘Select’ round button of your remote to view download option and app’s page.
  7. Press the select button on ‘Get/Download/Install’ option. Showing price instead of “Get” option it means the app is not available for free download.
The app starts downloading on your Amazon Fire TV.
To Add Apps to your Samsung Smart TV:
Before adding apps to your Samsung Smart TV, makes sure that your TV is connected with an internet connection without it you can’t add apps to your TV.
Steps:
  1. Switch on your Samsung Smart TV.
  2. Tap the ‘Home’ button of your Samsung TV remote.
  3. Go to ‘Apps’ and tap the ‘Select’ button.
  4. Use navigating button of your remote to scroll down and view apps.
  5. Use the ‘Search’ tab from the top-right corner of the screen to find the app you want to add to your Samsung TV.
You can also use “What’s new” and “Most Popular” options from the top of the TV screen to browser more apps.
  1. Select the app you want to download.
  2. Go to ‘Install’ on the app’s page and press the ‘Select’ button. If you see the price instead of “Get” option, it means the app is not available for free download.
The app starts getting downloaded on your Samsung Smart TV.
