Run Network Adapter Troubleshooter

Open taskbar, then tap Search option.
Input troubleshoot in the Search option.
Choose the Troubleshoot settings option.
Locate Network Adapter by scrolling down.
Press Network Adapter, and then tap Run the Troubleshoot option.

Update the Network Adapter Driver

If you want to update the Network Adapter Driver, then abide by the given steps:

Unselect the Allow network users to connect through the PC internet option in the Sharing button option.

Check the Registry Settings

Follow the provided instructions to check the Registry settings:
Open Run option by pressing Windows Key + R.
Input Regedit in Run option.
Click Ctrl + Shift+ Enter by opening the Registry editor option.
Tap Yes if asked for permission.
When Registry Editor will open, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WlanSvc\Parameters\HostedNetworkSettings\
Right-click On HostedNetworkSettings option by tapping right pane.
Choose Delete.

When the user completes the procedure, then they can reboot the PC and try again connecting the mobile hotspot.
