Twitter: Share Someone’s Video Without Retweeting

The users can post the Twitter video from some other user and that too without retweeting their Tweet. However, the process is simple to follow, but it varies according to the devices you are using, such as iPhone or Android. Also, you can use the desktop version to tweet the video of someone else.

The microblogging and social networking platforms are immensely popular among the users and they are always in search of a platform to express their views. The social networking platform has gained so much popularity even though it limits the number of characters each user can put in his every tweet. However, the users have the option of including visual and media assets to their tweet to overcome such limitations regarding adding characters. Such inclusion of media assets and videos to the posts not only expand the points of the users but also add further things to the context. For example, the users can record and share the videos more efficiently, and these videos are more appealing than adding some characters in the tweet. Moreover, the users can say whatever they want in videos more freely than writing them in a few characters. Sometimes, the users wanted to share videos of someone else without retweeting their tweets.

There are multiple reasons behind sharing the videos of someone else without retweeting them. The first reason can be the willingness of the user to create an exceptional post without using the information and account of the original tweet. Sometimes, the users wanted to create individual posts with only video, message and text. If the users succeeded in retweeting such posts, then it will be proved a more streamlined and engaging post by using only the Twitter account of the user and his message. Moreover, the users of Twitter don’t need to worry if they are promoting anyone else’s account. Since Twitter is dedicated to providing a voice to the users for raising their opinions and so it is easy to personalize the videos according to the requirements of the users. There are several ways which can be used to share the videos on the desktop version and mobile phone.

Share Videos on Twitter Without Retweeting

All the users of the iPhone need to keep holding the play button of the video they wanted to share. When they keep holding it, they will be redirected to the Settings displaying options such as Share Via or Tweet video. When the users tap on the choice of Tweet video, then it will provide a URL of Twitter in the new Tweet message. After then, you can customize the text and tap on the option Send. The users of Android will find the method a bit different. They will need to copy the URL of the video they wanted to share. After then, they will need to paste the link of the video URL in the Tweet they have composed. You will further need to add the video without using any quotation marks to the end of the URL link you have pasted to ensure that you have reshared the video only.

There is also a way for the people who want to share their Twitter video by using the Twitter browser version and desktop. However, it is not so easy to share videos through these platforms but becomes comfortable with practice. First of all, search for the Twitter video you want to share and then tap on the arrow indicating a drop-down menu. It will prompt you to the Settings menu, which displays the option of Embed Tweet. Now, you will need to tap on Embed Tweet and then choose the option Copy Code. After then, you will need to extract the video and then paste the Copy Code somewhere else. Generally, this is the second link that begins with “https://t.co”  in the code. Once you find the correct link, then copy and paste it instantly into your new Tweet, and when it is published, you will need only to share the Twitter video.
